Stephanie Hollman Says She’s Not Sad Real Housewives Of Dallas Is Over

October 27, 2021

It was a bit of a surprise that Real Housewives of Dallas was suddenly cancelled.  Yes, it was missing some of the entertaining crazy that LeeAnne Lochen brought to the show, and Kameron Westcott white-splained her privilege to newbie Tiffany Moon during the reunion, but there could have been a cast shake up and it would have gone swimmingly from there.  As it stood, the cast seemed fractured but the series still brought in the ratings and the potential was clear.

However, Bravo executives decided to pull the plug on our gals over the summer. And interestingly, some of the Real Housewives have yet to publicly react.  But earlier this week, Stephanie Hollman responded to an Instagram Q & A in which a fan asked if she is, “sad the show is done?”

Taste Of Reality Instagram fan page shared a screenshot of her response. Stephanie answered, “If I am being honest-no.  I started when my oldest was 5 years old and it was such a juggling act.  I learned so much about life and myself during those years, but Chance is 12 and I really want to be the best mom I can be during these tough years.  It’s emotionally tough to be in the franchise and I felt like I was dying inside toward the end of the 5th year.”

Stephanie often came off as the peacemaker and laid-back one on the show.  She coveted her role as wife and mother, and just wanted to have a good time with cast mate and bestie Brandi Redmond.  But one can’t avoid the drama entirely.  Stephanie was dragged into issues by proxy of her friendship with Brandi, and by Season 5, just seemed burnt out.

Stephanie is now focusing on her kids, and is enjoying a more harmonious life.  “My boys tell me all the time how happy they are now that I am not working and it breaks my heart because I realize that they could feel my stress and sadness when I was doing the show,” Stephanie said, “I want their childhood to be better than that.”

Ever well-mannered, Stephanie thanked Taste Of Reality for their supportive post.  She wrote, “Thank you for the love and kindness. Hope you are having the best week.”  Most comments were supportive towards Stephanie and wished her well.
