Tinsley Mortimer told fiancé Scott Kluth what shape engagement ring she wanted
Tinsley Mortimer knows what she wants when it comes to jewelry.
The “Real Housewife of New York,” 44, gushed about her enormous engagement ring from fiancé Scott Kluth while quarantined in Chicago with the Coupon Cabin CEO.
“He did such a great job. I did say I wanted an oval,” Mortimer told Andy Cohen on Thursday night’s “Watch What Happens Live” when asked if she picked out the ring herself. “I said oval and he got me this beautiful ring and after all of our breakups back and forth, I deserved it.”
The two were planning to wed in Japan this summer after Kluth popped the question in November, but have pushed their plans back due to the pandemic. Coronavirus shutdowns even had the couple considering a Zoom ceremony; however, the former socialite said she’s waiting for an intimate destination wedding.
She plans to have such a limited guest list that most of her Bravo co-stars likely won’t get an invitation. When asked who will make the cut, Mortimer cautiously named newbie Leah McSweeney along with Sonja Morgan. As for former “Housewife” Carole Radziwill, who memorably set up the pair? She won’t be getting an invite, according to Mortimer, as the two have fallen out following Radziwill’s exit.
Though Mortimer plans to keep the guest list tight, she won’t be skimping on the wedding dress. And she plans to go all out even though this is her second wedding, following her divorce from ex-husband Topper Mortimer in 2010.
“I’m definitely going to have a big white dress because, you know me, I have to have a big white dress,” she said. “I don’t even care if it’s a big white dress and it’s just the two of us somewhere with the dogs.”
