Cleveland-born rapper Machine Gun Kelly is giving back to his community during the pandemic.
Kelly, born Colson Baker, says he will buy lunch for diners at 12 Cleveland-area restaurants on Friday, May 1, beginning at noon — while supplies last. He’ll be buying one meal, which will be take-out only, per person at B&M BBQ, Black Box Fix, Jewellz Fine Dining, Primoz Pizza (two locations), The Sauce BSE, Sauce the City, Sub City (three locations), Barley House and Town Hall.
Additionally, the 30-year-old “Bloody Valentine” performer donated more than 40,000 meals to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
“In the spirit of EST (Everyone Stands Together) it’s important that people come together during this time and help out where they can,” Kelly said in a statement. “We want to support the community and local businesses and also the people of Cleveland. Stay safe and healthy.”
Kelly announced the event on Instagram on Thursday, writing, “CLEVELAND lunch on me tomorrow from any of these restaurants!! love y’all.”
