White House Locked Down After Suicide Attempt

U.S. Secret Service and FBI responded to an incident that occurred outside the White House where an unidentified man allegedly shot himself along the north fence.The death is being treated as a suicide attempt.

The White House has been placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure. The Secret Service’s Twitter responded after the incident:

BREAKING: Secret Service personnel are responding to reports of a person who allegedly suffered a self-inflicted gun shot wound along the north fence line of @WhiteHouse.

It was reported that the man was found unconscious when authorities and medics arrived, and said they’ve been told that he’s been declared dead.

Donald Trump isn’t currently in Washington, but per usual in Florida at his Mar-A-Lago resort with the First Lady.
