Guy Asks His Professor For Dating Advice And He Didn’t Disappoint

October 31, 2017

We have all received some questionable dating advice, from “treat them mean to keep them keen” to the “Three-Day Rule”, it is a miracle that the world’s population can even sustain itself.

Thankfully, there are dating heroes hidden in plain sight across this world, like superheroes lying in wait. They lie low in the most unlikely of places, ready to come to the rescue at the precise moment when you need them most.

For Jake Moreno, his knight in shining armor would come in the form of his Philosophy of Religion professor.

The 22-year-old was desperate to land himself a date with Hannah, the girl of his dreams, but he felt that he couldn’t do it alone. So, he drafted in the assistance of his teacher, Shannon Atkinson, to help him construct a careful plan to win Hannah’s heart.

Speaking to Buzzfeed News, Atkinson explained:

“Jacob approached me after class wondering if the triangle and Aristotelian Rhetoric could be used to ask a woman on a date and I was intrigued, thus my help. Honestly, Jacob was the brains behind the whole thing; my part was only in helping him form the ‘wording’ of the text so he didn’t come off too strong.”

While Jake approached his teacher in a comical manner, the two committed to the challenge and put their heads together to create a fail-proof plan. “I wasn’t lying when I said I don’t have many skills when it comes to wooing the ladies,” Jake told BuzzFeed News. “I did not think Hannah would say yes.”
