Christine Quinn Says A Producer Of Selling Sunset Told Her to Kill Herself

May 31, 2022

Before airing Season 5 of Selling Sunset, the show’s resident glamazon, Christine Quinn, awarded herself the label of villain saying, “Yeah, I live for it. I love being the villain and I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Same here, girl. If you ask me, Christine is what makes this franchise. Otherwise, we’d just have an exec dating his juniors and an HGTV-level wedding. Snooze.

I was shocked to hear the news that Christine is now accusing the Selling Sunset producer of telling her to “kill” herself. “We have to look at what Adam DiVello has done as a whole, as a human being, as the person that he is,” she said in an interview reported by Page Six. Then she spilled all the tea.

Christine argued that Selling Sunset’s production feeds the women lines to create drama. She added, “It is a male-dominated industry in the production field to which they manipulate women. They harass them. They just mentally torture and intimidate them.”

“They’ll say, ‘If you say this word if you say this sentence, we’ll let you leave.’ And so after three hours … it comes to a point where we’re just like, ‘Fine, I’ll say that I don’t care.’ So it’s the intimation tactics.”

Christine went on to clarify that Adam DiVello has a history of twisting scenes and using editing to alter perception. She explained, “Adam DiVello is the one who owns the production company, which is the same one who did ‘The Hills’ and made Heidi [Montag] and Spencer [Pratt] look like they were crazy.” Not my hummingbird-feeding-crystal-hawking-Pratt daddy!

Christine admitted that she has been playing the part of a villain since the beginning of the show. As if anyone needed that clarification. She still argued that the show would be better without Adam DiVello or Done and Done Productions controlling the narrative.

“There’s been complaints filed against him. Multiple complaints … and it’s been sick,” she added. “He actually told me to go fall down the stairs and kill myself at one point.” Christine alleges that the threatening comments took place after she did an interview and mentioned “editing magic” being used to create false storylines.

“He was threatening me and yelling at me,” she continued. “There were other people around, witnesses to this. He basically berated me for being too honest and I said, ‘This is my real life and this didn’t happen and you know this,’ to which then he was screaming and yelling at me.”

And this isn’t the first complaint Christine has filed against Adam, either. Said Christine, “There was another complaint to where he, to this day, cannot set foot on set with any of the women in the office because of misconduct.” W O W. This is heavy!

“I think the show could have been successful without the production company.” Christine maintained. “I think it would have been so inspirational and I think we could have played along with the drama but when we’re working with people telling us what to do, how to say [something], even wardrobe notes, you know, push up your cleavage…It’s hard you really can’t win.”
