Gearbox Software has started the rumour mill churning with their announcement of “never-before-seen reveals, exclusives, and surprises” for their PAX East panel on March 28, leading to some speculators that another Borderlands is on its way.

The next Borderlands game has been in development since 2015, when Gearbox had announced recruitment for the game. Not much has come out since then (apart from Borderlands 2 VR ). Gearbox will be hosting their panel from 2:00pm to 3:00pm EST, where it will announce “the latest news and updates” from the company.

While it’s not to everyone’s tastes, there is a fanbase for the series, which looks to finally have something (or some things) new to look forward to this year.
