You could say the suspects looked really fishy coming out of there with a shark.
Three thieves stole a live shark from a Texas aquarium on Saturday afternoon. The three suspects were caught on camera smuggling away the shark by disguising it as a baby.

The stolen shark was a 1.5 foot horn shark which was placed in an open tank at the San Antonio Aquarium. At around 3 PM, one of the thieves grabbed its tail as the other two wrapped a wet blanket around it.

The three then put the juvenile shark in a stroller and wheeled it out of the aquarium. The staff at the aquarium didn’t notice that the shark was gone for 45 minutes. But CCTV footage captured the shark-napping incident.
The suspects escaped in a red truck which police later tracked down. They took a person of interest into custody who confessed to doing the crime.

Gray horn sharks are known to survive from being out of the water for two to three hours. But when police found the fish it wasn’t clear if it would survive.

The other two suspects who allegedly participated in the act are also expected to be charged, police said.
