Aretha Franklin’s Funeral To Be 5 1/2 Hours Tomorrow, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan & Jennifer Hudson Performing
Aretha Franklin’s Funeral Schedule
Detroit is preparing to memorialize Aretha Franklin in an epic fashion. The Queen of Soul will be laid to rest tomorrow, Friday, August 31 at 10 a.m. at Detroit’s Greater Grace Temple church and EVERYONE will be there to pay respect to the icon.
Powerhouse performers include Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder, Ariana Grande, Yolanda Adams, Chaka Khan, Ronald Isley and Jennifer Holliday. Speakers include Former President Bill Clinton, Tyler Perry, Cicely Tyson, Clive Davis and Smokey Robinson.
President Obama will not be in attendance but he reportedly sent in a letter paying tribute to The Queen. The funeral will also air live on BET, HLN, CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. It will also be live streamed by The Associated Press, SiriusXM, and ABC News Live.
