There's something especially embarrassing and weird whenever one of our parents are involved with something that's dirty and/or scandalous.

Our parents almost always mean well, especially when they're thinking of their children.

So when they're thinking about getting you a gift, they oftentimes only have the purest of intentions. Which means that their brains are filled with only the happiest and pleasant of thoughts.

My sweet innocent mother got my sister a thermos with her initials monogramed on it for Christmas. 

Reddit user Snowy_Boy uploaded a photo of the thermos that featured his sister's initials. I don't know what name would spell out that unfortunate abbreviation, maybe Cecilia Uma Montgomery?

Some people applauded the monogram fail.

While others thought it honestly started off as a sweet gift...but ultimately turned the whole thing into a joke.
