Donald Trump’s Twitter Account Gets Deleted By Rogue Twitter Employee
Yesterday, U.S. president Donald Trump’s personal Twitter account disappeared from the internet for a brief 11 minutes.
Twitter users noticed that the account, @realDonalTrump, was inaccessible for a short period of time. Considering the president’s frequent twitter blasts, it didn’t take long for followers to notice his absence online.
An hour later, Twitter revealed that the person responsible was an employee who was leaving the company that very day.
Earlier today @realdonaldtrump’s account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.

Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review. http://bit.ly/2xX089g

President Trump’s Twitter account is now back online, though no official comment from the White House has been released.
My Twitter account was taken down for 11 minutes by a rogue employee. I guess the word must finally be getting out-and having an impact.
