Oftentimes, our eyes tell our tongues what food is going to taste like.

We've undoubtedly become accustomed to anticipating certain flavors just by looking at them. You ever pour someone dark-colored soda in a glass without telling them the flavor, and then they assume it's cola and it ends up being root beer or grape? There's always that initial instant shock that they have, but you can see them rather quickly figure out that they're just anticipated the wrong flavor and you're not trying to poison them or anything. 

Now take that same initial flavor shock and multiply it by a million to get what biting into this plate of spaghetti and meatball gelato must be like.

That's right. Gelato was constructed to look like another Italian staple; a very savory one.

And it's got people seriously befuddled.

Some don't like the idea of it.

While others were chomping at the bit to try it out.
