It’s finally July 2021, otherwise known as Real Housewives of Potomac season. And the hype is realer than real. The ladies of Potomac just know how to bring their A-game every year. No gang-ups or fake storylines necessary. Monique Samuels exited after a very dark season last year, mainly due to her fight with Candiace Dillard that split the fandom apart. Newbie Mia Thornton is joining the ladies, and is apparently quite the partner in crime with La Dame Karen Huger. Mia and CandeeGal even get into a fight of their own, this time throwing salad instead of fists, that I NEED in my life immediately.

RHOP Season 6 is looking to be filled with plenty of drama. The Grand Dame has a fellow bandit of her own to throw double the shade at Gizelle Bryant. Wendy Osefo also is in the hot seat this year — combatting rumors that her husband Eddie Osefo fathered a side baby. And it looks like the always messy Gizzy is a major instigator in that whole situation. All of this to say that Potomac cannot come fast enough this year — it’s just a top-tier Real Housewives city.

And ahead of the premiere, E! News has revealed the taglines for the ladies. As always, they’re golden. No wonder they always have to give the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills new title cards — their taglines alone cannot compete, so they need to distract us. First up we have Gizelle, who has finally left behind her “word on the street” taglines for good. She’s leading this season with “The secret to this pretty face is staying in the shade.” GOLD. Even if you’re not a fan of the green-eyed bandits, you have to give credit to Gizzy for this line.

Ashley Darby’s might be my favorite this time around. The new mom-of-two has always been central to the drama on the show. Whether it’s defending the horrific (alleged) actions of her hubby Michael Darby or going head-to-head with Candiace, she knows how to play the game. Her tagline is, “The only thing messier than two boys is me.” Again I say, this is GOLD. Ashley, in my opinion, is a premiere housewife because she knows what it takes to make good TV. She’s shown some of her most personal moments on camera and always is down to stir the pot. Lisa Rinna could never own it like Ashley.

And next up is Queen Karen — “The Grande Dame can never be duplicated, imitated or intimidated.” You got that right. No matter what you think of Karen, she is truly one-of-a-kind. And for her second season, Miss Wendy with the four degrees is reminding everyone that class is in session. “This professor doesn’t just grade on the curve, she sets the curve.” It could be better, but I secretly live for Wendy always playing up her education and badass career on the show.

Now Robyn Dixon’s tagline is truly on-brand for the RHOP housewife with a reputation for always showing up late. “I may keep you waiting, but trust me, I’m worth it.” This is her best tagline yet. Like this woman has missed entire flights because of her tardiness. I half-expected her tagline this year to plug her Embellished hat business, but this is soooo much better.

CandeeGal’s tagline is pretty average for her, but lets everyone know she’s not here to play this season. “My blessing are many and my patience is none.” Not bad, not spectacular. Candiace could literally just sing the chorus to “I See You” and I’d be content. Such a banger. And finally, we have the new girl in town, Mia. It’s clear she wastes no time getting into it with the ladies, and that’s exactly what I want to see from someone coming into this circle. “If you want to pop off, I’ll be happy to get you adjusted.” OK girl let’s see it.
