Meri Brown is back at it again, folks.
The Sister Wives star took a break over the last few weeks from sharing cryptic memes and/or messages, choosing instead to address her seemingly awful marriage at times by emphasizing her love for Kody Brown.
She has said on more than one recent occasion that she's committed to the selfish loser.
The last couple episodes of Sister Wives, however, appeared to shed some light on just how far Meri and Kody have fallen.
The answer, as admitted by Kody himself?
VERY far!
"There's just been nothing going on between me and Meri," he told cameras simply. "We quit dating and that's just probably because I quit calling her to say, 'Let's go do something.'"
Points for honesty, we guess?
Perhaps because the problems in her romance have now been laid bare for all to see and scoff over, Meri has seeminly returned to Instagram in order to take issue with Kody.
In subtle, mysterious fashion.
(Although, if you've been following this show and these spouses for any period of time at all, this really isn't all that subtle or mysterious.)
"In order to heal, we have to be aware of the pain we have caused other people," read a quote shared this week by Meri Brown, concluding as follows:
We have to be willing to apologize and be accountable to it.
Does anyone out there not think Meri was making a direct reference to her spiritual husband here?
Once you consider all Kody has said about her in recent days/weeks/months?
The revealing words were attributed to inspirational speaker Sylvester McNutt and, as you can see above, they had "we have to be willing to apologize" highlighted in yellow.
They also came not long after a Sister Wives scene that featured Meri complaining about Kody as follows:
"I will ask him to come over. 'Hey, come over, let's go do something.' 'Hey, let's go on a walk.' 'Hey, let's go to dinner.' He says no. When I ask, he says no."
There wasn't exactly a denial here on Kody's behalf, either.
"Meri and I are in a marriage, but we don't want to be part of a hookup culture. Romance and sex are saved for people who are in love," he said via a confessionall.
Translation?
I'm not touching Meri because I do not love her!
Why the heck does Meri stick around? Why does she put up with Kody's cruelty?
This is a question we continue to ask ourselves.
It's also a question often thrown around on social media, with one user arriving at what he or she saw as the only conclusion several days ago.
For money, right? For the paycheck that comes with being a part of the Sister Wives cast?
"The fact that you assume I make any decisions based on ‘income’ just shows that you don’t know me or my situation,” Meri clapped back at the time, adding with some apparent sarcasm:
"I appreciate your encouragement though."
We just hope Meri Brown knows we want what is best for her and nothing more.
