Mackenzie Standifer: It's GOOD That We Got Fired From MTV! Ryan Edwards Is Gonna Make Us Rich!
Believe it or not, Ryan Edwards and Mackenzue Standifer are quite well off.
Of course, some would say that's soon to change now that Ryan has been fired from Teen Mom 2.
But Mackenzie says it's just the beginning -- and she insists that she and Ry Guy are about to be very rich!
Fans have been suggesting that Mackenzie might be worrying these days, what with three kids to feed and a mortgage to pay.
But according to her latest Instagram Story, she's taking it one day at a time and refusing to let the pressure of sudden joblessness get to her.
"Worrying today does not take away tomorrow's troubles. It takes away today's peace," she wrote.
Good advice. But does it apply to Mackenzie's situation?
After all, worrying can be a good thing in certain situations.
And a mom with a notoriously unreliable husband who suddenly finds herself jobless and with no real prospects is probably someone who should be experiencing some anxiety,
So what's the secret behind Maci's tranquil state of mind?
Do she and Ryan have some sort of massive nest egg saved up that the rest of us don't know about?
Sadly, that's not the case.
It seems that as a severe drug addict, Ryan didn't squirrel away much money for the future.
But both he and Mackenzie say they have clear plans for the future, and they intend to continue being rich, thank you very much.
According to the plan, Mack will use this time to focus on becoming a fitness influencer.
That might sound like a lofty ambition, and it certainly is, but as always, she's a lot more grounded than Ryan, who plans to focus on a career in race car driving.
“Mackenzie’s doing her thing with her business and I am starting my own fabrication business building off-road race cars and racing them as well," Ryan said of his future in a recent interview with UK tabloid The Sun.
As for why Maci took steps to get the Edwards clan fired, Ryan says the truth is obvious:
“Maci is in fear that my mom and dad will start telling the truth. She will always fight to have us off the show," he said.
Yes, Ryan has been saying that he plans to reveal some sort of terrible truth about Mackenzie.
It's anyone's guess what that truth might be, but he says it's so bad that she'll probably lose custody of eldest son Bentley when he drops it.
So yeah, despite all of his talk about retreating into obscurity and racing cars for the rest of his life, it looks as though Ryan is still clinging to his last shred of media relevancy.
We can only hope that he plans to make his big reveal in court and not in the premiere episode of some ill-advised media venture.
After all, it's bad enough that Jenelle Evans has a podcast coming out.
We don't think we could handle a world where every single Teen Mom reject gets to continue spewing their BS in a different format.
