Leaked Image Shows ‘The Last of Us: Part II’ Potentially Releasing in October
Grab your salt shaker, as this is one of “those” news items.
We’ve been having rumblings of Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us: Part II‘s release date for a while now. The game’s composer, Gustavo Santaolalla, hinted that the game was coming out “soon”. But Sony and developer Naughty Dog remain tight-lipped over the release date.
But now, thanks to a Peruvian online retailer, we have more speculation as to when the game will finally release.
The retailer, LawGamers, recently issued promotional material for the title, suggesting an October 2019 release date. Of course, heading over to the website now shows no sign of The Last of Us: Part II, nor any of the promo material.

Neither Sony or Naughty Dog have commented on this, but seeing as Sony is skipping out on E3 this year, we could see an announcement being made outside of the event for the long-awaited sequel. Of course, there are also those who speculate that The Last of Us: Part II could skip the PS4 entirely, as there are rumblings of the PlayStation 5 being announced this year, as well.
But then you have quiet reveals such as this character art of Yara from Lead Character Artist Soa Lee at Naughty Dog being posted on Reddit, showing just what kind of stuff the PlayStation 4 is still able to push out.
Whenever the game comes out, it’ll definitely be a feast for the eyes.
