Kim Kardashian’s Latest Hairstyle Scrutinized On Social Media

Kim Kardashian is the GOAT at cultural appropriation, so it really shouldn’t be a surprise that not only did she get braids again—she threw in a few locs for good attention seeking measure.

While the rest of the world mourns the late Aretha Franklin, Kylie Jenner’s older sister hit Instagram with a photo that has black people looking at her like she’s crazy.

Referring to herself as “Futuristic Barbie,” Kim sits on her knees and gives the camera her best “I’m sexy” face. One bewildered fan commented on Instagram, “I’m confused is it a bun with feathers in it and then braids coming out of the bun?”

One grimy waitress had zero cares to give when she decided to air out a betrothed man’s dirty laundry hours before his wedding.

According to Page Six, trust-funder Cory Perlson was about to get hitched to Brianna Ehland, a Tump Organization executive.

But Las Vegas bottle waitress Mayra Angel was ready to cancel all of that.

Angel allegedly launched an Instagram account featuring photographs that prove she had an affair with Perlson months before his wedding day.

She posted the pics on the account @a.summer.affair.

Smh…cold.

The images went up hours before the ceremony and she used the couples wedding hashtag on her posts and even marked them with the geotag of the wedding venue in Long Island.

The pictures have since been removed from IG, and surprisingly the wedding went on as planned. But this doesn’t mean the Perlsons had forgiveness in their hearts.

Perlson’s attorney, John Jones, says Person filed for a restraining order against Angel and he’s also pursuing criminal charges. Sources told Page Six, Perlson and Angel met around three months ago and they’ve only met three times.

Perlson denies they had a sexual relationship, but this doesn’t explain the tattoo Angel has on her rib cage of Perlson’s initials.

Eesh.

Clearly, the relationship meant more to Angel.

She maintains her claims against Perlson despite his denial. “I have not done anything illegal whatsoever,” she said. “Nothing I have said has been false information, nor did I try to extort Cory at any point.” Angel says she didn’t try to contact Perlson nor Ehland.

Perlson is the son of Gary Perlson, who made a ton of money doing laundry for extravagant hotels like the Waldorf Astoria. Considering he just married someone who’s worked for Trump, surely they’ll have all the tools necessary to fight Angel.

But she definitely left her mark in the land of petty.

André 3000 Fan Shares Remarkable Story About Running Into Him

There’s a heartwarming André 3000 story circulating the internet right now about an Outkast fan named Tiana who just happened to bump into the Atlanta rapper Thursday while strolling the streets of Soho. At the time of the encounter Tiana was wearing a t-shirt with Dre (born Andre Benjamin) plastered on it wearing one of his famous costumes from his 2014 live show run that read “across cultures darker people suffer most. why?” Tiana said Benajamin was just as excited to see her (and her shirt) as she was to see him and that he snapped several photos of her and also obliged her request for a picture. Sounds like a dope experience, riiiight?

Tiana shared her story on Twitter and got retweeted nearly 30K times on the platform while being favorited over 188K times! Crazy right.

Gladys Knight Reveals Pancreatic Cancer Diagnosis

In painfully sad news, Gladys Knight is revealing a shocking diagnosis. While at Aretha Franklin’s funeral, the soul legend told reporters that she too suffers from pancreatic cancer, the same disease that The Queen of Soul passed away from.

The news was told to WDIV (Channel 4) by Knight herself.

“We shared the fact that we have the same disease,” said Knight.

It was unclear how long ago Knight was diagnosed with cancer. According to Detroit News who spoke with Dr. Otis Brawley, Chief medical officer for the American Cancer Society, only 20 percent of those diagnosed with the disease live beyond one year, while only 7 percent survive five years after being diagnosed.

Gladys told Roland Martin today that she felt tremendously sad over losing her “sister” Aretha.

Our prayers are with this icon, we hate to hear news like this.

Vanessa Marquez Killed By Police

Vanessa Marquez of ER fame was gunned down by police in South Pasadena today according to TMZ.

The actress’s landlord called the police expressing concern for Vanessa’s mental health. Upon arrival it is reported that she became very combative with the officers. She also waved around what cops believed was a semi-automatic pistol, subsequently, she was shot in the chest.

That object was revealed to be a BB gun.

Marquez was suffering from an eating disorder and seizures and it is believed to have been mid-seizure when she was killed.

Vanessa was booted from ER after three years (1994-1997) and blamed George Clooney for running her out of Hollyweird.

J.R. Smith Surrenders To Police For Fan Altercation

J.R. Smith has turned himself into police in New York, and has since been charged with a crime, according to reports from TMZ Sports.

The Cleveland Cavaliers player’s surrender and charge stem from a July incident where he allegedly threw a fan’s cell phone. Smith was being investigated for allegedly stealing a cell phone from a person outside of The Park (a restaurant in Chelsea). Officials believe that J.R. threw the phone into a nearby construction zone, damaging the item.

Now, it looks like Smith appeared at an NYPD station in Chelsea early Friday morning, where he was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief and issued a desk appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.

Smith’s attorney, Alex Spiro, told TMZ, “This is nonsense, and we aren’t responding to nonsense. He was issued a ticket.”
