The man, who worked at iForce, was frog-marched off the premises and suspended after netizens alerted the employer of his twisted comments in a dark-humor group on Facebook.
Comments describing Alfie as a “brain dead cabbage” and a “waste of a bed” were circulating on the social media site until it reached members of Alfie’s Army, a support group for Alfie and his parents.

A spokesperson from the company said: “We would like to thank the members of the public who contacted us about the disturbing Facebook posts referring to the sad passing of Alfie Evans.”
“We can confirm that the individual involved in the Facebook postings is no longer an iForce employee. We immediately contacted the police regarding the issue. The comments posted on Facebook are obviously not shared by iForce or any of our employees. We would like to take the opportunity to send our sincerest condolences to Alfie’s family at this very sad time.”
The post has since been taken down and the person who originally made the post has apologized to the public.
The man has also deactivated his Facebook page since receiving death threats. Facebook is now doing an investigation to see whether the dark-humor group breaches community standards.
