Eight different women have accused Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman of sexual harassment.

Videos of his ‘controversial’ and ‘creepy’ comments on Entertainment Tonight interviews were reported by CBS.
One video was from 2016 with correspondent Ashley Crossan. The other video was from 2015 with correspondent Janet Mock.
During the interview with Crossan, Freeman asked the journalist if she was married. She replied that she wasn’t, to which Freeman joked, “Fool around with older guys? I’m just asking.”
In the video with Mock, Freeman says, “I don’t know how you all manage to do that all the time. You got a dress halfway between your knee and your hips, and you sit down across from me and you cross your legs.”
The accusations of inappropriate behavior include claims from a production assistant. She alleges that the 80-year-old actor attempted to lift up her skirt back in 2015 on the set of the bank heist movie ‘Going In Style.’

She goes on to claim that Freeman’s co-star in the film, Alan Arkin, intervened. “[Freeman] kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear. Alan [Arkin] made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan freaked out and didn’t know what to say,” she shared.
Another person, a senior member of production staff on the set of ‘Now You See Me’ in 2012, alleged that it was common knowledge Freeman ‘harassed’ women behind the scenes.

She claimed: “He did comment on our bodies… We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted.”
CNN reported that 16 people have spoken to them about Freeman, regarding the claims. Eight of whom said they were victims of what some called harassment and others called inappropriate behavior by Freeman. Eight people also said they witnessed the alleged conduct of Freeman.
CNN also reported that Freeman’s spokesperson has yet to reply to their email with a ‘detailed list of the accusations,’ despite numerous follow-ups.

One accuser, a manager at Freeman’s production company, Revelations Entertainment, alleged: “[Freeman would] come over to my desk to say hi and he’d just stand there and stare at me. He would stare at my breasts. If I ever passed him he would stare at me in an awkward way, would look me up and down sometimes stopping and just staring,” she said.
“One time he stopped, looked me up and down as I walked into a room of people, and everyone burst out laughing. And I literally froze feeling very uncomfortable and one of the people in the office said, ‘Don’t worry, that’s just Morgan.'”
Sky News reported that Freeman has responded with a brief statement: “Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected—that was never my intent.”
