Stephen Hawking Dead At 76

A famed scientist has died. CNN reports that Stephen Hawking, the British physicist considered the “world’s greatest living scientist” passed away Tuesday according to a family spokesman.

He was 76.

Hawkings had ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease that left him wheelchair-bound, paralyzed and only able to use a speech synthesizer to speak.

He is survived by his three children.
