If you’re sick of pushing paperwork on the daily, listen up.
Legoland Discovery Centre Birmingham is on the hunt for an official Master Model Builder.
Basically this means the lucky employee will be paid to let their imagination run wild and play around with Legos.
Whoever gets the job will work at a custom-built studio next to Legoland Discovery Centre’s Creative Workshop. The lucky employee will construct structures, curate exhibits, and mentor kids and families in creating their own masterpieces.
Master Model Builders get paid around £27,000 a year, which in USD estimates to about $37,000.
There are currently only 21 Master Model Builders in the world, so to hold the title could be considered quite prestigious.
“The Master Model Builder role is such a privileged position to hold and the number of applications that we have received has come as no surprise,” says Amy Langham, General Manager at Legoland Discovery Centre.
Over 5,000 applications from all over the globe have already been received and the final 50 will have to battle it out to win the job.

The top 50 will take part in a ‘Brick Factor Challenge’ on Saturday, March 24th. Challenges are designed to separate the amateurs from the professionals.
The Discovery Centre is set to become the ‘ultimate indoor Lego playground’, boasting more than 2 million bricks, buildings and landmarks built from scratch. Oh and plus, they’ve got an interactive laser rise and a 4D cinema.
If you think you’ve got what it takes to be a Master Model Builder, you can apply on their site. But hurry! Applications end on March 21st.
