A Bangladeshi airline passenger aircraft has reportedly crashed while making its descent at Nepal’s Kathmandu Airport on Monday.

The airline was carrying 67 passengers when it collided against the building and caught fire. Authorities are responding to the incident and details as to why the plane crashed are still unknown.

Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) spokesman Birendra Prasad Shrestha said, “We are trying to bring the fire under control. Details are awaited,”
17 people on board the airline have been rescued. However the condition of the rest of the passengers is still unknown.
