Dental Account Manager Accused Of Scamming $84K From Customers

An account manager for a local dental corporation is accused of abusing her power and stealing more than $84,000 from customers.

Essence Boatwright was recently arrested after authorities say she scammed around 35 patients of Carestream Dental.

WSBTV reports that Boatwright, an account manager at the company, stole tens of thousands of dollars from May 2012 to January 2017.

“Well, you can always get away with it for a long time, but eventually you’re always gonna get caught,” KC Rowe with Katella Investigations told WSB.

She’s accused of using her company log-in and password to make refunds totaling $84,750 to her personal checking account.
