PETA Says Animal Idioms Are Akin To Racism, Homophobia, And Ableism

This is exactly why people continue to eat burgers, rock furs, and buy fancy leather motorcycle jackets made from 100% pure animal. Because f**k PETA.

According to CNN, the animal-loving morons at PETA are comparing using meat-based idioms like “bring home the bacon” and “take the bull by the horns” to people calling Black folks “ni**ers” and calling gay people the word Brits use for cigarettes. Again, f**k PETA.

Just as it became unacceptable to use racist, homophobic, or ableist language, phrases that trivialize cruelty to animals will vanish as more people begin to appreciate animals for who they are and start ‘bringing home the bagels’ instead of the bacon.
