Kim Porter Is Laid To Rest In Columbus, GA

Kim Porter’s funeral was held Saturday in her hometown of Columbus, GA. Diddy, Usher, DJ Khaled, Tichina Arnold, Russell Simmons, Kimora Lee Simmons, Lil Kim and Mary J Blige were among the 1,500 mourners who gathered to remember the late model and mother of four.

According to TMZ reports, Diddy delivered an epic 15 minute long eulogy where he revealed how Kim taught him how to love. He also made the stunning admission that at the beginning of the year he was suffering from depression and Kim was a great source of comfort by visiting and making sure he was okay. Diddy managed to maintain his composure throughout the entire speech as he described his and Porter’s relationship, which remained solid from beginning to end as it evolved over the years, producing three children.

Diddy’s words drew cheers from the crowd of mourners and he got laughter as well, particularly as he promised to always be there for his kids and talked about how his daughters could confide “everything” in him.

Before the big event, Diddy posted this message on social media:

Today we lay to rest our ANGEL. Her spirit lives on with us FOREVER!!! We thank you all for your prayers and support. You have no idea how much it means to us. We thank GOD for all of you. #KimPorter

He also posted this message on the day she was laid to rest beside her late mother Sarah Porter.
