Can you hear them, Little People, Big World fans?
Stop for a moment and listen closely.
They may be faint, but it's now been confirmed that they'll soon be on the way.
Yup, wedding bells are -- for certain -- going to be ringing this summer for Amy Roloff and Chris Marek.
These impending nuptials have been a topic of discussion for several months, of course.
Marek proposed to Roloff back in September of 2019 during a meal meant to celebrate both her birthday and the couple's three-year dating anniversary.
Plans to exchange vows at some point last year were scrapped, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and also Amy's financial situation after she sold portions of her farm to her ex-husband and then moved off the property.
That was then, however.
Now?
The last couple episodes of Little People, Big World have centered on Amy debating whether or not to get married on the aforementioned farm.
Yes, she lived there for decades and, yes, she'd likely admit that it still feels like home.
But Matt Roloff now owns it and he lives there with his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, and it would understandably be a bit weird for Amy and Chris to tie the knot there at this point.
Will they still do so, though?
Yes, an insider recently told The Sun.
"The reason Amy didn't want to have it at the farm at first is because of the emotional history there, and she didn't know if everyone was on the same page yet," this person claimed, adding:
"Caryn isn't a huge fan of Amy, she feels they are more acquaintances than friends, but she just wants Matt and the family to be happy and for everyone to move on."
So it does sound like Amy and Chris are headed to the farm.
And now we know when they'll be doing so!
"Wow! It’s June already. About 89 days til our BIG - the wedding. Time is flying by. We’re getting excited about it. Woohoo!" wrote Amy on Instagram this week, after the calendar flipped.
The mother of four added the hashtags #storyofamyrandchrism #weddingplanning #thebigday.
Amy didn't specify the wedding date in that statement.
But "about 89 days" from June 1 would take us to Monday, August 30.
If we're to assume that the couple is not getting married on a weekday, and if we're to assume that they're getting hitched on a Saturday, then we feel pretty confident in forecasting the following:
Amy Roloff and Chris Marek are getting married on August 28.
The Sun, meanwhile, reports that the big day will, indeed, be televised by TLC -- and guests will be tested for Covid beforehand to make sure they're safe and healthy.
"There are strict health and safety regulations" scheduled to be in place, writes this newspaper.
As for whether or not Matt and Caryn will be invited?
That question continues to linger.
"Things are a lot more amicable between the two couples and they've been spending time together," alleges The Sun insider.
"They just want to be mature and move on with their lives for the sake of their kids.
"But that's not to say there won't be disagreements in the future, as everyone knows what Amy and Matt are like."
