On Sunday afternoon, Donald Trump made a return to the only place where he feels loved:

A stage in front of thousands of wildly ignorant and misguided Republican supporters.

At the keynote speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, the one-term President rambled on once again about election fraud, threw some bigoted shade at the transgender community... and, yes, teased a 2024 run for the Oval Office.

"Do you miss me yet?" Trump asked to open his speech, which took place about an hour after its scheduled start time.

The room erupted in applause at that question, but attendees were then treated to more of the same drivel that has been coming from Trump since early November.

Trump mostly focused on what Democrats have dubbed the “big lie,” referring to the 2020 generral election as “rigged” and insisting that he won... even though he lost the popular vote by more than 7 million votes.

And even though all of his court cases that challenged various state results were thrown out -- due to a total lack of evidence.

“As you know, they just lost the White House,” Trump said of Joe Biden, rewriting history/just making total crap up.

The sociopathic ex-Commander-in-Chief also said he wasn't very impressed by Biden's first 30 days or so in office.

“Joe Biden has had the most disastrous first month of any president in modern history,” Trump said, citing recent decisions on immigration and the border.

What about all the vaccinations out there? The $1.9 trillion rescue plan for which Biden has been pushing and which has support from over 70% of the public?

No comments on either, really, from Trump.

At other points in his meandering speech, Trump called out Liz Cheney and other Republicans who dared to criticize him for inciting an insurrection last month.

But he shot down speculation that he'd be leaving the party that he still controls.

“I’m going to continue to fight right by your side. We’re not starting new parties,” he said. “We have the Republican Party. It’s going to be strong and united like never before."

It's going to be united -- except for the traitors he vowed to help vote out.

“We cannot have leaders who show more passion for condemning their fellow Americans than they have ever shown for standing up to Democrats, the media and the radicals who want to turn America into a socialist country,” Trump said of Cheney and company.

"Get rid of them all," Trump said all 10 House Republicans who voted for impeachment, and all seven Senate Republicans who voted for conviction.

As for whether Trump will run in 2024?

We don't know for sure.

But it's not surprising that he keeps teasing the possibility because it keeps his name in the news.

"With your help we will take back the House. We will win the Senate. And then a Republican President will make a triumphant return to the White House," Trump concluded.

"And I wonder who that will be.

“Who, who, who will that be? I wonder.”
