The Bachelorette Men Tell All: One Alleged Erection... and 6 Other Shockers!
The men told all on Monday night, revealing a number of tidbits and secrets about their time on The Bachelorette.
Before they did so, however, Tayshia Adams went on an awkward date with Blake.
"When I looked into his eyes, I was looking for more validation and more confidence in the situation," she said in an on-camera confessional the pair met with a reiki and crystal master.
Added Adams;
"I don’t see it. Maybe that’s why we haven’t really progressed as much as some of the other relationships."
So much for Blake advancing to the final four and getting to meet Tayshia's loved ones on a hometown date.
"I just don't know if I can get there," she told the wildlife manager before they said goodbye.
"It's not that you're not an incredible guy, I just don’t know if, like, the timing was off for us. I think it’s time to go our separate ways.”
After giving Blake the emotional, Tayshia came back to the resort and took Riley by surprise by severing ties with him as well.
"Today it hit me like, the realization of hometowns are next week," she toldd him.
"And I know how much family means to you and I don’t even want to put you in that position if my heart is not 100 percent matching yours.
"Because I don’t want to hurt you and I know how much you are protective over that and your heart and everything and I don’t want to lead you on. I'm sorry."
With Blake and Riley gone, attention turned to Bennett, who somehow returned last week despite getting eliminated.
Cut to the tense rose ceremony... where Adams gave the night's first rose to Zac, followed by Ivan and Brendan.
This meant Bennett would be going home once again, as well as Noah.
Since Ben already earned a rose during his one-on-one date last Tuesday evening, he'll also be proceeding to hometown dates. And there's your final four.
As for the Men Tell All segment of this Men Tell All special?
Noah Read the Book Bennett Gave Him!
Noah said that Bennett’s presents to him -- most notably a book about emotional intelligence -- were “conniving” in nature, yet that did not prevent him from reading the tome, which he deemed pretty solid.
Bennett later apologized to Noah for his role in their rivalry, but the latter declined his mea culpa and said they would never be pals.
Yosef Attacked Clare Crawley... Again
Remember how he blasted the former Bachelorette for what he perceived to be a sexist strip dodgeball game that he said made Clare look like a terrible role model?
He doubled down on those remarks here.
When Chris Harrison asked if Yoself would approve of someone speaking to his daughter in the way he spoke Clare, Yosef replied:
“If my daughter did something like that, I would hope someone would call her out."
Tayshia Denied All Those Setup Rumors
Was she in on the Clare switcheroo from the beginning, as many have theorized?
No way, Tayshia said, joking that she wished she had known early on that she'd be taking over as The Bachelorette so that she'd have had ample time to prepare.
Now it's just up to viewers to decide if they believe her not.
Did Blake Get Aroused on Air?
Harrison, at one point, poisoned our eyes by showing a deleted scene from Blake’s one-on-one date -- during which the suitor seemingly got an erection while a shaman waved a crystal over his body.
“I was charged,” he explained.
Later on, Tayshia confessed that she put up barriers with Blake due to his lingering feelings for Crawley when she arrived.
She didn’t want to be blindsided if he couldn’t get over her predecessor.
Why Did Bennett Get the Double Boot?
Tayshia said appreciated Bennett laying his heart on the line when he returned, which was totally not scripted and planned out by producers.
As a resullt, she wanted to be respectful toward this loser by taking time to think about whether she should give him a second chance.
Ultimately, however, her other connections were stronger... so she sent him home. Again.
And Riley?
As mentioned above, he was a pretty big mess after getting the hand from Tayshia.
However, on this special, she reassured the handsome ex-contestant that she didn’t end things because he opened up to her about his life.
In fact, she encouraged him to keep being vulnerable with others in the future.
Finally, Kenny Went After Noah
There was a great deal of debate over whether Noah came on the series merely to start drama, which he denied, of course.
But Kenny took this accusation one step further by accusing him of being a “party boy” and getting wasted all the time.
Noah then fired back at Kenny, alleging he displayed the same behavior.
