The Paley Center for Media has announced one of its final programs of the year — a virtual conversation celebrating the career of Eva Longoria.
“We’re thrilled to present this incredible conversation with Eva Longoria, who has dazzled television audiences since her unforgettable turn on ‘Desperate Housewives,’” Paley Center’s President & CEO Maureen J. Reidy said in a statement to Page Six.
“Over the years, Ms. Longoria has built an impressive resume as not just an actress, but as a director, producer and activist, who has used her platform to promote inclusive representation both on screen and off,” she continued. “We’re so proud to host this program and are thankful for Ms. Longoria’s longtime support of the Paley Center.”
The “Paley Front Row Presented by Citi Program” conversation, which will cover Longoria’s career from roles in front of the camera and behind, will premiere Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on the Paley Center’s channel on Verizon Media’s Yahoo Entertainment. Political strategist and commentator Ana Navarro is set to moderate.
“In my journey in Hollywood I have tried to touch every rung of the ladder and, after many years, I’ve been fortunate to find success,” Longoria, 45, said in a statement. “I’ve been working to create content focused on uplifting underrepresented communities for more than a decade and diverse storytelling is critical for me.
“I’m excited to join my dear friend Ana in this special conversation, and would like to thank the Paley Center for their continued commitment to presenting programs that promote diverse voices on television.”
