The Duchess and her husband, the Duke of Cambridge Prince William, opted out of knowing whether their third child would be a girl or a boy as they wanted to be surprised this time around.
The royal baby will be fifth in line to the throne and will have the title HRH Prince or Princess of Cambridge.

The Duchess is expected to have a safe and swift delivery as Princess Charlotte was born only two hours and 34 minutes after she arrived at the Lindo Wing. The Metropolitan police have set up barricades outside St. Mary’s for when the royals leave with their new baby.
The birth will be celebrated with a 41-gun salute in Green Park or Hyde Park — and a 62-gun salute at the Tower of London.
