Like mother, like daughter. 

Jane Scher, the mother of socialite Libbie Mugrabi — who is hosting what she hopes to be the most exclusive event during a pared-down Miami Art Week this week — is also getting in on the action.

We hear Scher, who is physically staying away from the festivities, purchased a piece sight unseen from Jeffrey Deitch’s Kenny Scharf pop-up exhibition “Moodz” in the Design District.

The $40,000 work, “Gopt,” features a blue cartoon face. Scher, a facial injector, said she plans to hang it in her Skintight Medspa office in New York. “It’s so cute, a happy face,” she told us. “Like after I do Botox, and people are happy.”

Scher is also eyeing a larger work for $175,000, “Ja Mon,” and plans to put it in her new home in Sag Harbor. “It’s adorable,” she said.

In October, Scher settled a lawsuit with Pottery Barn after falling through a door in the floor during a Black Friday sale, we reported. She claimed that she sustained injuries, plus damage to her J. Mendel mink coat, Birkin bag and bracelets from Van Cleef & Arpels.

Her daughter, Libbie, who recently settled her divorce from art collecting scion David Mugrabi,  is currently in Miami where she plans to throw a dinner, “with only A-listers and artists,” at the Faena Hotel. She told the NY Times, “I’m starting a brand where it’s all about the healing. It’s about art, the art of fashion, the art of beauty, the art of art, the art of — of whatever.”

A party invite for Mugrabi’s bash seen by Page Six informs guests to “dress f-cking fabulous.”
