Just when you think you can’t be surprised by anything you learn about Aaron Hernandez — you learn he dreamed of riding horseback.

We’re told a prison letter written by the late Patriots star is going up for auction, and in the 2015 note to a woman he refers to as Kathleen, he scolds her for being mercurial: “One day we talk about when I’m released going horse riding with you and my family … and then you cut me off.”

He later wrote, “you still have me on your ‘bucket list’ to get on a horse.” Hernandez died by suicide in 2017 while serving a life sentence for murder.
