A Star Is Born will live forever! A Star Is Born will never die! Last night at Brooklyn Steel, Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst covered Ally Campana’s star-making song, “Shallow.” Bridgers sang Lady Gaga’s part, “Shallow” scream and all; Oberst sang Bradley Cooper’s part, subbing in “and in the bad times I kill myself” for “and in the bad times I fear myself.”

While the Bridgers-Oberst cover is not going viral on YouTube as the original did in the movie, it is definitely a spooky, delightful experience:
