Adam Sandler is going back from whence he came. After a few small-time parts in TV and the movies in the late 80s, along with comedy club performances, Sandler was discovered by Dennis Miller who recommended the up-and-coming comedian to Saturday Night Live boss Lorne Michaels. In short order, he was hired as a writer for the long-running sketch comedy show and soon became a featured player. The rest is history.
