When your father’s a stagehand, you’re sure to have an adventure much like this one in your own home!

7-year-old Shelby Coram was surprised to find dinosaurs roaming just outside her window one day.

Her father, Lyle, who works as a stagehand wanted to surprise her so he transformed their backyard into Jurassic park.

He used projectors, screens and lighting to create the dinosaur safari.

And Shelby was amazed by the scene that unfolded in front of her.

In the video, it seemed like a dinosaur was interacting with Shelby while she was holding a ball.

But when interviewed, Lyle said that he hadn’t installed motion sensors in the room. It was just good timing!

Lyle put in a good number of dinosaurs in the video footage, but Shelby became terrified when the T-Rex came out.

This is not the first time that Lyle thought of out the box to create a surprise for his 7-year-old.

After he remodelled her room with a Disney-princess theme, he installed a castle complete with a fiber-optic firework display!

“She really loves the room,” Lyle said. “She tells all her friends that I built it for her and that ‘I can do anything.’ That’s the best part of doing this.”
