A skinny and emaciated Staffordshire Bull Terrier was found abandoned on a lane in Middlesbrough, England. He was found by a man passing through the area who had mistaken him for a plastic bag.

Luckily, the man realized that it was a dog in need and called the right people to take care of the Staffie. The four-year-old dog was taken to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) where he was dubbed Magic by those who had taken him under their care.
The poor dog was suffering from a bad skin infection, poor eye condition, and very dirty ear canals when RSPCA inspectors gave him a check up. It was also very alarming to see Magic’s bones sticking out from under his skin due to the lack of proper food and nourishment.

One member of RSPCA expressed her concern over Magic’s condition and has said that she has never seen such a thin dog. She continued on to say, “I have done this job for nine years and am rarely shocked but when I saw the condition of this poor dog I was so horrified and upset. He is as emaciated as a dog can possibly get while still being alive. I don’t think he would still be here if he hadn’t been found yesterday.”
“It is clear to me that he has been dumped after someone has let him deteriorate to this poor state of health without seeking vet treatment for his many health problems. I took him straight to the vets and I’m investigating the matter.”

RSPCA is looking further into the matter and trying to find out anyone who has information as to where Magic came from.
