elania Trump has been having a difficult couple of months. Heck, the woman's been having a difficult year. Why? Because people just won't leave her alone now that she's the First Lady. It's probably not what she envisioned when she married Donald Trump.

In fact, just two years ago, Melania had it all. There she was, the perfect New York society wife with the jewels, the furs, the gilded apartment.The woman literally had all-gold everything before Trinidad James even dreamed up the rap. Her life – at least from the outside – was perfection.

Then along came Donald Trump’s political ambitions, crashing through election 2016 like a bull in a china shop. Just like that, New York’s most vulpine beauty, the once-perfectly content trophy wife, was now the First Lady of the United States.

The entire thing was unprecedented. Melania wasn’t even American by birth – she was a naturalized citizen from the more frigid climes of Slovenia. First Lady was not what she had trained herself to be or even imagined.

For instance, public speaking was not her forte. Her native accent was still thick, and when she did attempt a public speech, the American public mocked her for lifting it – sometimes verbatim – from a Michelle Obama speech.

When she tried to give the American public glamour during the varied natural disasters plaguing the inaugural year, the public mocked her too, and then there were the disclosures of all her husband’s cheating and sex scandals.

Despite all this – and to her credit – Melania has remained a dignified and at times enigmatic specter.

Now, however, we’re getting another look at the First Lady, and in it, she’s a duck.
