Margaret Josephs Says That No One Wanted To Film With Danielle Staub After She Pulled Her Hair; Calls Danielle “So Unstable”

September 24, 2021

Danielle Staub was fired from the Real Housewives of New Jersey after Season 2. That was a long time ago. Danielle returned as a Friend of the Housewives in Season 8. Danielle and her one-time enemy Teresa Giudice made peace and became friends. Never underestimate the power of bonding over yogaMargaret Josephs and Danielle were on bad terms during the following season of RHONJ. Danielle’s bridezilla meltdowns were too much for Margaret. It was a lot.

Jennifer Aydin hosted an elegant anniversary party at her home. Danielle’s soon-to be ex-husband, Marty Caffrey, insulted Margaret’s appearance. Margaret’s husband, Joe Benigno, ordered Marty to take it back. In the splash heard across Bravo, Joe and Margaret pushed Marty in the pool. So iconic!

During Season 10 of RHONJ, the situation between Margaret and Danielle worsened. During a day of shopping at a boutique, after trading insults, Margaret helped Danielle cool off by pouring water over her head. Danielle dumped out Margaret’s purse, and then viciously yanked Margaret’s hair. So, did Danielle feel any remorse? Nope. In fact, she said, “And that’s my only regret, is that she had to tell me to do it. It felt good.”

And of course, Danielle was referencing how Teresa encouraged her to pull Margaret’s ponytail. Danielle told Teresa’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, about Teresa’s involvement. Melissa told everyone, and Teresa cut all ties with Danielle. And once her only friend on the RHONJ cast dumped her, Danielle knew that her Housewives dream was dashed. Duh.

So, she made an announcement. “It is time for me to leave and do something that I want to do that makes my heart happy every day. And, so I will be never returning as a Housewife again.” I like how Danielle pretended that she had a choice in the matter. Puh-lease!

In July of 2021, Danielle was once again dissing Margaret. “Margaret is probably the hugest problem with the entire cast,” Danielle remarked. “She’s an instigator and has a lot of problems, legal problems.”

In an interview with Nicki Swift, Margaret shared her thoughts about Danielle. “I mean, there’s no relationship whatsoever, obviously. She lives in a world that’s not reality, unfortunately,” Margaret said.

“She makes up her own reality in her head, has her own perspective on things. She was convinced she was staying in the house, and she was buying it from Marty [Caffrey], and she had to move,” the RHONJ cast member explained. “We have no idea where she lives. I feel sorry for her. That’s it.” Then, Margaret addressed the rumor that no one wanted to film with Danielle after she yanked Margaret’s hair. “Yeah, of course. No one wants to work with someone who is so unstable. I mean, that was 1,000% true. No one,” Margaret shared.

She continued, “I think Bravo doesn’t tolerate. There’s a zero-violence policy. That’s just not the show it is. That was truly a violent moment. It crossed the line.” It certainly did.

“Some people were like, ‘Oh, but you pushed her husband in a pool, which was violent.’ Pushing someone in a pool is something that happens at kids’ birthday parties, right?” Margaret said. “It’s hijinks. It’s fun.” She added, “Attacking someone from behind, dragging them, it’s a different thing.”
